From 27 of April till 1 of may i was working on the cabin again. Inside i painted it in white, and i glued the bottom on. The bottom is made of styrodur and fiberglassed on the inside.

The next step is fiberglassing on the outside. I cutted of the excess foam and the next step is sanding the edges.

I decided to paint the inside of the cabin in white. I should paint it with epoxy, because it would be the cheapest solution. My lampox epoxy cost me 6,5 €/kg. There will be no direct sunlight inside, so no exposure to UV.
The bottom (what is now on the top) consist of two layers of fabric, first unidirectional - 1000 g, and woven roving - 500 g.

On 27 th of May, i laminated the bottom from outside, what i couldn't  do were, strips on both sides. I was working alone, and was afraid that resin will harden before i could finish, it was a nice day with temperatures above 20 degrees C,

Unfinished strips left and wright.

Today on the 10 th of may, I finished with lamination of the bottom,
my neighbour helped me, in the end we installed the vacuum bag.
Vacuum pomp at work.

Nicely finished corners.

Yesterday I finished with engine box. Here are some movies and photos.

I can reach about -0.4 bar of vaccum. My bag was leaking somewhere.

On the transom carbon fiber could bee seen.

On the 12th of April, I laminated the engine box. Again I used vacuum to finish the lamination process. I can't imagine and wouldn't dare to laminate complex forms and thick fiber without a vacuum anymore. Material I used: 1000 g of unidirectional, 1200 g of quadraxial, and I also added 350g of carbon fiber. Next time the turn is on the inside of the box.

Above and below, vacuum bag.

I made a litle s--t, the fiber orientation of carbon fiber  is wrong (below).

A deck cabin below is taking shape at last,

i have to cut the entrance into the roof , I am marking the stringers position on the Under side of the roof , and they can screw the roof to the timber reinforcements .

A shelf by the entrance

Inside of the cabin , i have just done the roof reinforcement .

Today on 10. of march, i made the roof, here are some pictures.

First two pictures are taken on eight of February, they show the cabin When i glued the front and back side on the beginning i did a mistake. I simply changed the sides, and because the front beam and the back beam are not of the same height, i will have to backup in the front, so the cabin will be leveled.  Everything will be made from ply except the bottom. The bottom will be from styrodur and fiber.

Today i was working on the deck cabin again here are some pictures and a short movie.

In 1986 on the first of April I started with my three friends to build a Wharram catamaran Tiki 26. Unfortunately i don't have much pictures left from this time, but from the next years sailing from Pula to Dubrovnik and back are shown here.
