Here is the continuation of the building process of small tender for HAKA. The beginning can you see in the previous blog about first sailing. Last night (early morning) I did the lower side (lamination), the upper side I did already on Saturday. Here are some pictures of the work. I started with lamination at about eight o'clock (pm), and was finished at 3in the morning.

First sailing wasn't glorious in a fact it ended after a few ours. I had a problem with the mast so i did not put up the big crab claw sail. I used the small one. We had back wind, and when the wind shifted from one side to the other, the spar broke in half when he was pushed against the mast. the position of the sail was not good. And after that the rudder broke. So after a few ours of sailing we turned

around, and vacation was over. Also the engine failed and we were towed to the port. So no I am working on new rudders, this time out of ply.

On the fourth beam, where the engine box is attached to the beam a crack appeared, so i will make new beam at home and transporte to the sea. It also has to much wait in the front so I am thinking to mow the cabin back between third and fourth one.

Now I am working on the tender for HAKA, I am making it out of styrodur and fiber.

On 6th of September i half formed styrodur, and today i will make him till the end (6th. 9.)
